A good snapshot stops a moment from running away.

My name is Kathy Buraczynski, and I am a photographer in the Atlanta area. I first developed an interest in photography in junior high. I learned way back then that there's something incredibly special about the view of life that you get through the camera lens. It is as if the emotions of the moment multiply as you focus your attention on the subject.

Happiness, sadness, joy, anger, peace - all are emotions that can be captured with a snap of the shutter. And, as the wise Mississippi writer and photographer Eudora Welty said, the moment does not run away. For it is captured forever in that instance.

That is why I love photography, and that is why I bring you this blog - to share the moments I capture along my journey. I would consider it a privilege to work with you and your family as you seek to hold on to some memories of your own.
